Trivia Tap has 1,900+ questions across 32 categories, including picture rounds. Play on your own, pass one device around a group, or connect several devices. It works offline and has no ads.

How a game works
Every game is made of rounds. Each round is a different category (they never repeat). E.g. 5 rounds × 10 questions. Set the number of rounds and questions per round in Settings.
Ways to play
🎲 Solo / Random
Tap Play for a random mix, or Choose categories to pick your own. Play alone and beat your score.
👥 Pass & Play (one device)
Share one phone/tablet with a group.
- Tap Pass & Play.
- Pick players (2–6) and enter names.
- Take turns — a screen shows whose go it is.
- A leaderboard shows everyone's scores at the end.
🌐 Play Online (multiple devices)
Everyone plays on their own device. Needs internet on each one.
Host: tap Host a game → share the 4-letter code → tap Start when everyone's joined.
Join: tap Join a game → enter your name and the code → tap Join.
During play you'll see all players with a light beside each name:
red = still answering,
green = answered.
The host's timer is used by everyone. With a timer, questions move on automatically. With no timer, the host's Next button appears once everyone has answered.
Settings
Rounds — categories per game (3/5/7).
Questions per round — 5, 10 or 15.
Answer timer — time per question, or Off. Online, the host's choice applies to all.
Fresh questions online — pulls live questions from the internet instead of the built-in set.
Sound effects — ticking clock, right/wrong tones, round fanfares and an end-of-game jingle. On by default; switch it off here for silent play.
Categories
Each category shows a badge: Online can pull fresh internet questions · Offline uses saved questions only (like the picture rounds).
Special rounds
- Flags — name the country from its flag.
- Landmark Pictures — identify famous landmarks.
- Shapes — name the shape or count its sides.
- Dingbats — solve the visual word puzzle (STAND / I = "I understand").
- Emoji Puzzles — guess the film from emojis.
- True or False & Odd One Out — quick brain-teasers.
Answering
Yellow highlights your pick · green tick marks the correct answer · red line shows a wrong pick.
